Hi. My name is Rachel and I am possibly going to Benin on a Rotary Ambassadorial Scholarship. I wanted to know about your experience there, particularly as a woman. I have been searching the internet for information but it just isn't to be found. I am also trying to find an institution where I can volunteer ( I am interested in international development) or a university. I know there is one in Contonou, but I have a hard time accessing its web site. Anyways, any help at all/ advice/ thoughts on Benin would be so appreciated. This is a last minute change for me ( I was originaly requesting Belgium) and I have to send my updated application soon, so I am litte frantic. I want to improve my french and have experience work in a LDC. I am also thinking about Senegal and Cameroon if you have any insight on this. Thank you so much for help of any kind!
