Well, we are not used to killing anything becuase we are so far removed as individuals from our food supply. About 50-80 years ago you would have been able to do in the little rooster without blinking! LOL
oh sara - i gotta tell you - you are doing soooooooo well! i'm so happy every time i read your posts and your pictures just take my breath away! I haven't forgot about you and sending you a little package - but i just broke my sewing machine! so i have to wait to get it back so i can finish a little gifty gift before i send it off! we had fried chicken last night and i was telling tom your chicken story and he was laughing sooooo hard picturing you befriending and then killing a poor little chicken. i can't even tell ya! here's hoping you're well and letting you know i love you and miss you! what am i going to do when betsy's over there two and there are two of my little white girl iowa friends partying it up africa stylee!?
