Ah ha! I have finally found a current PCV in Benin via your blog (many Peace Corps sites are outdated). I'm coming over on Sunday, and will be happy to continue the RPCV tradition of buying beer and carrying home letters, but wondered if you can tell me what the money situation is. I'm running a 5 day film shoot in Ouidah so do I have to bring USD, Euro, travellers cheques or can I use visa card at an ATM to get local currency? If I have to find the local Cotonou volunteer to change my money for me can you tell me how to do so? thanks, Susan Bryant, Madagascar 1998-2000. susangbryant at yahoo
